Operation Y
Miuccia is at it again, delivering yet another fantastic collection. Geeks are in, sexy greek gods are out. I wasn't sure about the leather blazers but they grew on me. The ruffles are a nice and delicate touch, prove to become one of micro-trends of this season (see J.W. Anderson) and i'm sure will pop up in other collections. The styling was so on point with collars carelessly pocking out of sweaters and jackets, cropped trousers paired with thick-soled shoes and no socks. The set design deserves a post on its own. One day.. And a multi-age casting was an interesting element.
Sucks to be a geek. Does not when you are dressed in Prada!
The woman herself. Embellished slides and a white coat. Genius.
After watching this, the character from a 1960's Soviet comedy "Operation Y and other Shurik's adventures" came to mind. He is THE ultimate geek! The nerdy student who gets into the most obscure situations.

Geek Alert!
WOW! I wish i could help myself and stop being being such a geek. Also wearing cropped trousers suit and 70's style trainers CLEARLY doesn't help. Oh well i guess i'm just gonna roll with it.
